Chris Hemsworth Can’t Save Franchise Crossover Disaster

We’re in for another round of recycled ideas and overhyped actors with Chris Hemsworth taking on “Transformers” and “G.I. Joe”. Because what the world really needed was another blockbuster franchise for Chris Hemsworth to grace us with his presence. “The Australian actor is collecting franchises like Infinity Stones.” LOL, so original – Thanks Entertainment Weekly! I guess playing the God of Thunder and a deranged villain in a Mad Max movie just wasn’t enough for him.

But hey, who needs originality when you can just keep using the same old faces, right? I mean, there are definitely no other talented actors out there who could take on these roles. Let’s just keep giving Hemsworth all the big roles because apparently that’s all Hollywood knows how to do.

And now they’re combining “Transformers” and “G.I. Joe”? Wow, talk about thinking outside the box. I guess they ran out of ideas so they decided to mash together two popular 80s brands and call it a day. Because why bother coming up with something new when you can just cash in on nostalgia?

But don’t worry guys, the producers swear this crossover is totally organic and not at all a cynical money-grabbing move. Because nothing says organic storytelling like jamming two completely different franchises together for profit. And let’s not forget that Hemsworth will also be voicing young Optimus Prime in an animated movie. Because why stop at just one franchise when you can be in all of them?

But hey, at least we have Steven Caple Jr. directing, who is known for his work on “Creed II.” And the script is being written by Joby Harold, who previously wrote “Army of the Dead.” So maybe, just maybe, this won’t be a complete disaster. But let’s not hold our breath.

So thank you, Hollywood, for once again giving us such groundbreaking and innovative content. Because we couldn’t possibly survive without another Chris Hemsworth-led franchise in our lives. Can’t wait to see how long it takes them to figure out the Joes story while simultaneously milking every last dollar from fans’ pockets.

Everything you just said is wrong.
