We Roast the Future

Television

Black Mirror wannabe for sci-fi-obsessed teens. #Roasted

Oh boy, another “mind-bending” sci-fi show. Because we definitely don’t have enough of those already. But wait, it’s being compared to Black Mirror? Now that’s something to get excited about. Ish.

Let’s see what kind of mind-bending stuff they have in store for us this time. “Parallel universes, alternate timelines, and a mysterious government organization.” Wow, never heard that one before.

Oh, and of course there’s a group of young, attractive actors who are somehow at the center of it all. Because that’s what every sci-fi show needs, right? Eye candy.

But hey, at least it looks like they’ve got some decent special effects. That’s always a plus. Maybe they can distract us from the recycled plot and characters.

Oh, and here we go with the “thought-provoking” themes and social commentary. Because nothing says “entertainment” like being preached to about the dangers of technology and government control.

But let’s not forget the most important part – the twist ending. Because what’s a sci-fi show without a mind-blowing twist that leaves you questioning everything you just watched?

In all honesty, I’ll probably still end up watching this show. I mean, who can resist a good sci-fi binge? But let’s not pretend like it’s going to be anything groundbreaking. Just another cookie-cutter show trying to cash in on the Black Mirror craze.

Everything you just said is wrong.
